Terms of Service

Draft dated 4 November 2026.

Who we are

MyPerfectDoc is operated by [legal name and registered address]. You can contact us at [contact email].

What MyPerfectDoc does

MyPerfectDoc lets you upload a PDF, ask other people to sign it electronically, and keep a record of what happened. It is a software tool. We aren’t a party to your documents, we don’t give legal advice, and we don’t check what your documents say.

Your account

  • Keep your login details safe. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Only upload documents you have the right to use and share.
  • Only ask people to sign where you have a genuine reason to contact them.
  • Don’t use the service to mislead, harass, or defraud anyone, or to break the law.

Electronic signatures

Whether an electronic signature is valid depends on the document, the people involved, and the law that applies. Some documents, such as wills and certain property or court papers, may need a handwritten signature, a witness, or a stronger type of signature. It’s your responsibility to check that an electronic signature is suitable for your document.

MyPerfectDoc confirms a signer through their email address and an emailed code, and seals the finished PDF with a certificate and hash record. It doesn’t check government ID, and the sealed PDF doesn’t carry a certificate-based digital signature.

Sent documents can’t be changed

To protect the record, a document that’s been sent can’t be edited or deleted from your account, and its audit trail can’t be altered. Cancelling a request stops further signing but keeps the record.

Changes to your PDF

If a PDF has fillable fields or comments, we may turn them into ordinary page content when you upload it, so that every signer sees the same thing. Links and pop-up comments are removed when this happens. You’ll be told, and you should check the result before sending.

Availability

MyPerfectDoc is in private testing. It may change, or be unavailable, without notice. Keep your own copy of anything important. Your signed copy is emailed to you when a document is completed.

Liability

[Limitation of liability wording, to be provided by legal counsel.]

Ending your use

You can stop using MyPerfectDoc at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Governing law
